What we stand for: Ocean & Environmental Stewardship
HydroSurv has impact across five UN Sustainable Development Goals
Substituting conventional vessel operations with electric and hybrid USVs can slash the carbon intensity of ocean data acquisition. Through carbon elimination and trusted offset initiatives, HydroSurv's pledge is to become carbon net zero by 2025.
HydroSurv is creating new, highly-skilled jobs that transfer the work of traditionally seafaring personnel to land-based operations. Our technology can be operated from Remote Operations Centres (ROCs), contributing to
improved safety and welfare for personnel.
Our technical development roadmap goes much further than robotic survey vessels - HydroSurv is investing heavily in developing new survey and inspection technology to enable marine energy and construction to scale efficiently with meet our future needs.
We're innovators in new environmental monitoring solutions to support the non-invasive monitoring and restoration of seagrass meadows and are supporting the development of blue carbon sequestration schemes as a part of our own offsetting initiative.
In collaboration with our partners, HydroSurv is developing technology and configuring new services to increase resurvey frequency and enable coastal practitioners to improve our understanding and resilience to coastal erosion, flooding and inundation.
